Day 25 - Meeting the ducks

Today we got some floor time and got to meet the ducks!

We pretty much ignored each other and Onxy was the only brave one to get near them.

Then she got really bored with that and flew onto Daddy's head.

Onyx - "I think I like it up here. Might stick around for a while"

Day 22 - Can we come out and play?

Pearl - "Mom, Can we come out and play?"

Onyx - "pretty please?"

Come on mom, open the door!

Ruby - "That's better, How ya doin?"

Ruby - "Can I fly onto you mom? Please?"

Ruby - "Yay! I like being up high!"

Onyx - "don't leave me out!"

Opal - "I'll just stay here, thank you very much"

"Put your right foot in, take your left foot out..."

We love our freedom!

Day 19 - Agoraphobia

Today we went outside for the very first time. It was very scary! 

Pearl kept trying to escape! 

Daddy came out to save us!

We all ran to daddy!

Onyx and Ruby decided to start climbing on him when we realized he wasn't taking us out.

Day 17 - Growing up!

Onxy - "I love sitting on Mom's Arm!"	Pearl - "How do I get down from here?"
Ruby - "I'm shy today"	Opal - "Weeeee!"

Today, we got to experience wheat grass!!  Mommy made us a nice bin of wheat grass and we had so much  fun playing and digging around in it.  Later, we all discussed what a treat that was and hoped we could do it again!

Day 12 - Bigger Brooder & Dust Bath

Day Twelve - We moved and played!

No photos shoot today. Mommy said it was cuz she didn't want to stress us out too much.

Today we moved into our new home. It's sooo big!! We had a blast flying around and dive bombing each other.

I went to inspect this bowl of brown stuff that mommy added to our home and wow! It was soft! I decided it was about time for me to take my very first dust bath! I had to much fun that I couldn't stop purring.

Be sure to turn up the sound and listen to me!

Day 11 - Last day in our small brooder

Opal - Where we going?	Onyx - Come on, let move!
Pearl - I don't care what we do as long as I can peck!	Ruby - My tail can come too, right?

Mommy told us that tonight is our last night in this coop. We are all kind of nervous, but looking forward to having more space!

Day 9 - Mealworm dinner!

Onyx - Mom, I just wanna nap! That was exhausting!	Opal - What am I supposed to do with these things?
Pearl - Any more worms around here?	Ruby - Huh? What did you say?

Today there was much excitement in our home! Mommy brought us these worms that look like our toes! I grabbed one from her and everyone started to chase me! It was so much fun. "Can you catch me?" I asked everyone.. They all tried, but I was too fast! 

Day 8 - Photo shoot only today

Day Eight - Today we just got a photo shoot

Not too much happened today, since our mommy was at the hospital with her granddaughter today.  We did get a photo shoot when she got home though!  We are getting so big!

Our Mommy became a Grandma!

No photo shoot today.. Our mommy became a grandma today, so she didn't have time to do a photo shoot.  We are so excited for her. She has a new granddaughter - Kaylea Lorraine  Born 3.12.12 at 10:42pm. She was 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long! Picture perfect health!

Day 6 - Onyx learns to roost

Today, I finally figured out how to get up on the roost! It's so much fun flying around our home! Ruby does it too, but she's scared to land on the roost. Pearl and Opal are still stretching out their wings and don't really fly yet. Silly twins. It's so much fun!

Oh well, I'm so proud of myself!

Wow.. all that flying is exhausting. I think I'll sleep here tonight.

Day 5 - The Roost

Opal - I don't wanna sit still!	Ruby - Hurry, I wanna fly again!

As I peaked out of our coop and watched the others misbehave during the photoshoot - I noticed that Ruby flew! She flew not only once, but twice! And really far too! She went crazy and flew all the way from the bright box to mommy's lap! It was amazing!  After mommy finished our photoshoot, she moved our walking stick up and it seemed like it was floating in the sky! She told us that if we were going to try to fly, we might as well try to see if we can land on the "roost".  

It was pretty scary to see that "roost" floating in the air!

I had to take a closer look at it...

Opal and I took turns running back and forth playing limbo under it once we got used to it!
